CGM has advised us that Microsoft will end support for Microsoft SQL Server 2012 on July 12, 2022.
As a result of this decision by Microsoft, CGM will no longer be supporting this SQL Server version on the following platform as of July 12, 2022:
If you have not already done so, please begin preparing now for the end of life of SQL Server 2012. All CGM customers should plan a move to a Microsoft and CGM supported version of Microsoft SQL server. Recommended versions are:
Continued use of systems that are no longer supported with security patches puts them at risk of HIPAA violations because of the requirements to protect devices against malicious software.
We strongly encourage all of our practices that are still using Microsoft SQL Server 2012 to take immediate action and begin planning for an update as soon as possible if it has not already been completed.
