WEST DES MOINES, Iowa -- June 9, 2008 -- MediNotes Corporation, a
market leader in
electronic health records (EHRs) with more than 23,000 users
nationwide, announced 199
new software agreements with new and existing medical practice
customers during the first
six months of 2008. These organizations have selected the company’s
advanced EHR
solutions, as well as new practice management (PM) capabilities, to
enhance practice
workflow and seamlessly integrate with existing software.
Additionally, MediNotes has been recognized as one of the Top 100
Healthcare IT
Companies by Healthcare Informatics in its June 2008 edition. The
15th annual survey
ranked companies based on their 2007 healthcare IT revenue.

Omaha (Neb.) Eye and Laser Institute – 47 total users
Liberty Urgent Care, Middletown, Ohio - 15 total users
Pediatric Family MD, Flushing, NY – 26 total users
MediNotes Clinician EHR/PM software was also awarded first place
for the second
consecutive year at the TEPR Pediatrics Award Sponsored by the
American Academy of
Pediatrics’ (AAP) Council on Clinical Information Technology. The
awards focused on
disease management and functionality specified in the CCHIT
certification from 2006 and
2007.
